Satake will join FOOMA JAPAN 2011 (International Food Machinery & Technology Exhibition), held from June 7 to June 10 at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition center.

Companies from various industries at all stages of the food manufacturing process will gather at FOOMA JAPAN 2011, and the largest exhibition of its kind in Asia.
This exhibition is in its 34th year and is hosted by the Japan Food Machinery Manufacturer's Association.
Awareness of food safety, reliability, taste and health is constantly increasing. Satake's theme for this exhibition is "Advancing Innovation -Providing Good Taste and Good Health-" and we will display and demonstrate machines in the following six areas.

(1)Optical Sorters that provide reliably safe food
(2)Test and inspection equipment/Analysis services
(3)Grain preparing and processing machinery
(4)Environmentally friendly products and services
(5)Tasty value-added food and home equipment
(6)Rice cooking and food processing systems

In the optical sorter area, a prototype of a large scale high capacity industrial optical sorter will be on display. In the inspection equipment area, Satake will exhibit an early version of the Scanning Grain Analyzer (working title) which measures exterior quality for grains and beans other than rice.
Also, on display will be rice germ and bran supplements that provide abundant nutrients of germinated brown rice, flour milling machinery for the production of rice flour, and LED illumination designed to save energy in a factory or other facility.
Information panels will be on display regarding Satake's efforts after the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, such as distributing cooked rice and increasing the production and shipment of emergency food. Disaster-preparedness products will also be on display.
Satake's booth is 5P-09 in the East 5 hall. The exhibition is held from 10:00 to 16:00.
