A Good Start for “Obusubino-GABA”

Crowded with Customers

“Omusubino-GABA,” Satake’s handmade rice ball shop, has been crowded by customers since it opened on December 1st.

In-store view, crowded by customers

“Omusubino-GABA” has been crowded with customers every day since its opening on December 1st, thanks to rice balls made from Rinse-Free GABA Rice and a unique drive-through lane.

The shop is always crowded, especially at lunch time (11:00-14:00) when it is common to see between 10 and 30 customers ordering food to eat at the shop or take home. Upon tasting the uncommonly good Rinse-Free GABA Rice, customers have expressed interest in learning more about it. Besides rice balls, other menu items such as GABA rice dogs and GABA rice gelato have been delighting customers with their unique textures and tastes.

Toshiko Satake, Chairperson and CEO, says “We sincerely appreciate the patronage of our customers. Rinse-Free GABA Rice is a tasty and healthy type of rice that is the product of over a century of rice processing experience. We wish to help our customers live healthier lives by offering them nutritious foods like GABA rice balls. We will continue to promote the advantages of GABA rice to support our goal of creating better health through rice.”
