“Omusubino-GABA in Sogo Hiroshima” a Rice Ball Shop Opens June 12th

- This is the 3rd Shop in Japan aiming to build awareness of GABA rice -

Satake will open a handmade rice ball shop called “Omusubino-GABA” in the Sogo Department Store in central Hiroshima City at 10:00am of June 12th. The shop is the restaurant’s 3rd location in Japan. The 1st shop is in Saijo (Higashi-Hiroshima City). The 2nd shop is in Akiharabara (Tokyo).


“Omusubino-GABA”in the Sogo Department Store

“Omusubino-GABA in Sogo Hiroshima” (Address : 6-27 Motomachi, Nakaku, Hiroshima City) is the “antenna shop” for the promotion of GABA rice. It is the 3rd location, following to Saijo and Akihabara. GABA’s benefits (healthy and tasty) are increasingly acknowledged through the promotion of Omusubino-GABA in Saijo and Akihabara. To accelerate this trend, the 3rd shop will open in central Hiroshima City. The new shop is located on the ground floor of Sogo Hiroshima Department Store where many shoppers come every day, and ideal place to promote GABA rice.

The shop will sell 12 kinds of rice balls, 10 kinds of GABA rice products, including bags of rinse-free GABA rice, GABA noodles, GABA flour, and 20 kinds of Satake food products, including instant rice, instant noodles and packed rice. The shop will be open 7 days a week from 10:00 to 20:00.
