Now Satake increased the number of varieties available for its Rice Variety Analysis Service to 320.
Satake started its rice and cooked rice variety analysis (DNA analysis) service in 2003 and has analyzed many samples since. Every year Satake has worked to increase the number of varieties that can be analyzed.
12 new varieties (11 varieties of non-glutinous rice, 1 variety of non-glutinous for sake brewing) have been newly added. Most domestic rice can be analyzed today.
