SATAKE Cote d'Ivoire is Now in Full Operation

Enhancing its services in Western and Northern Africa

SATAKE Cote d'Ivoire Representative Office

SATAKE Europe opened "SATAKE Cote d'Ivoire Representative Office" this April to begin its full scale operation in African market.

SATAKE begun its involvement with African market since 1980's mainly exporting its machinery based on ODA (Official Development Assistance) by the Japanese government. After opening UK branch office in 1988, SATAKE gradually but steadily increased its presence in the region by accommodating local demands and teaming up with its agents in Egypt and South Africa

Based on their constant growth in recent years and promising growth in the future, SATAKE Europe (SEU)*, subsidiary company based in UK, has opened its representative office in Cote d'Ivoire this April. Although the office is not currently involved in sales directly, it has been playing important role in Public Relations, Technical Services, and coordination of related parties and organizations.

Its current business area is West African countries such as Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire, and North African countries such as Morocco, Tunisia, where economic and business market growth are expected. As the demand for newer and larger machineries in the grain processing market continuously increases, SATAKE Cote d'Ivoire is expected to become a subsidiary company to accommodate market needs in near future.

Agriculture such as coffee, cacao, palm oil, rice, corn, cashew nuts, is the core industry in the West African region. Rice is the main staple food in this area and its consumption has been increasing by 6% every year. SATAKE will be able to contribute to the higher quality standard and by adding extra value to the rice industry with its proven products and technology. Furthermore, the importance placed by the Cote d'Ivoire government on rice, coffee, and cashew nuts production is expected to result in further demand in new production equipment including pre-cleaners and optical sorters.

*SATAKE UK Branch Office became SATAKE Europe (SEU) in 2010.
