Satake Exhibits at FOOMA JAPAN 2007

"The Future of Food"

FOOMA Japan 2007(International Food Machinery & Technology Exhibition) was held from June 5 to June 8, 2007 at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Big Sight).Satake Corporation ran a booth in the East-6 hall (6M-01).

The Satake booth had 5 areas: (1) optical sorters, (2) inspection and analytical instruments, (3) food industry machinery, (4) foods and household products, and (5) grain preparative processing machinery. Actual equipment was on display and there were panels and demonstrations, all with a theme of “The Future of Food ? Protected by Electronic Eyes.”
The theme indicates that sorting technology will play a vital role in the future of food production.
Optical sorting technology especially is advancing faster than ever, continuing to improve processing speed and yield, as well as the safety and peace of mind that food can provide.
The optical sorting area of the Satake booth attracted many eager observers.
