Hiroshima, Japan; April 3, 2026 - Satake is pleased to announce the addition of the SSW80A (SATAKE SPIRAL WHITENER) to its SSW series of rice milling machines. The new model is designed to mill rice more gently and efficiently through Satake's innovative uniform internal pressure milling technology.
The SSW series, launched in 2024, is highly regarded worldwide, with its excellent long-grain rice processing performance especially recognized in Asia. Following the successful launch of the SSW60 (6 t/h) and SSW100 (10 t/h), the new SSW80 (8 t/h) has been introduced in response to customer demand for a mid-capacity model.
Building on this expanded lineup, the most notable benefit of the SSW series is its contribution to improved head rice yield. By maintaining stable and uniform pressure inside the milling chamber, the SSW series gently mills the rice while minimizing grain breakage. As a result, a higher proportion of head rice is produced, directly enhancing product value and overall milling profitability. Customers who have already installed the SSW60A and SSW100A have reported clear improvements in head rice yield and overall milling performance.
Features:
1. Uniform internal pressure milling system
Conventional machines use an external, weight‑based pressure system, while the SSW series adopts an internal pressure system that enables uniform pressure milling.
2. Fixed quantity supply system
A screw feeder provides a fixed and consistent supply of rice, ensuring stable milling pressure throughout the process.
3. Low energy consumption
Due to the reduced pressure on the grain, the SSW series consumes less power than conventional machines, resulting in significant energy savings.
