Satake booth at Brazil ICW

Joinville, Brazil; February 4, 2022 - Satake America Latina Ltda. exhibited its optical sorter FMSR01 at the International Coffee Week (Brazil ICW), held November 10-12, 2021 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

The annual Brazil ICW is one of the world's largest fairs in the premium coffee sector. The event brings together global industry professionals and individuals working at every level of the Brazilian coffee value chain, generating opportunities for business, market access, and the sharing of industry knowledge.

Due to the pandemic, the event in 2020 was held completely online. The 2021 event was therefore seen as a very important face-to-face opportunity for the industry and was well attended. Approximately 10,000 visitors were able to interact with 105 product brands exhibited at the fair ground. Additionally, 6,000 visitors attended remotely, indicating a large global interest.

Satake received around 500 visitors to its booth where the optical sorter FMSR01 demonstrated sorting both raw and roasted coffee beans. Remarkably, Satake's booth was the only one with a running machine demonstration at the entire event. Visitors including government officials and owners of large corporations were deeply impressed with the machine's impeccable performance. Shinji Nakagawa, Manager at Satake America Latina says, "We also received positive feedback from visitors, and some invited us for later engagement and further conversation on our products."
